Default Bears, Chiefs, Redskins 3-way trade

Everyone else has been speculating, so I thought I'd throw my hat in the ring.

Briggs wants out of Chicago. Washington wants him. KC needs to ship Green and Chicago needs a QB. So why not the following:

Bears trade Briggs to Chiefs for Trent Green and Chiefs #1 pick(23)
Chiefs send Briggs to Washington, Chiefs receive Washington's #1 pick(6).

    Bears get their starting QB
Washington only spends a 1st rounder on Briggs
And Chiefs move up to #6 pick in 1st round and cut some salary cap.

Everyone wins. The Chiefs would then have a shot at getting someone like Gaines Adams(DE) or Joe Thomas(OT).

I love it! Unfortunately, Washington doesn't want to give the 6th, overall, straight-up, for Briggs. They were looking to swap first round picks, with Chicago.

Bears, Chiefs and Redskins; oh my!
    j/k

...Sounds as plausible as anything else I've read here. :)

Although, I would be really surprised to see Green go anywhere else.

Then Bears could swap picks with Chiefs and get Trent Green. Then Chiefs trade Briggs and the Bears pick to Redskins for #6 pick. It could still work.

True, but it looks a little like fuzzy math, but hey it worked for the 2000 Presidential election. LOL! j/k

Seriously though, literally anything is possible; that is just one of the aspects that makes draft day so exciting.

It would be awesome to see Green get to play behind that Chicago "O" line.

It would be even more awesome if we moved from the 23rd to the 6th pick.

Any scenario that does not begin with "Trent Green to Miami" is like a fantasy.

Trent Green holds all the bargaining chips in his contract. No way does he make it to opening day with that $$$. So wherever he goes, a new contract will have to part of the deal (or another team agreeing to pay him $7 mil).
You can only have one favorite team. There are no "second favorites".
