A man who gained worldwide fame after claiming he had been raped by a wombat says the story would have been more interesting if he'd been drinking.
48-year-old Murchison man Ross Cradock was sentenced to 75 hours of community work last week after he rang police and complained he'd been sexually violated by a marsupial.
The story made worldwide headlines and even secured Cradock a guest spot on a British comedy show.
Despite widespread allegations over his sobriety, Cradock denies he was drunk at the time of the call.
