    Default New fantasy football game

Hey guys, first post but long time lurker here, I registered just to share this pretty kick-a$$ game I started playing recently. Its an online football game, where you get to make players, own teams, build stadiums, get equipment, and develop your own players.

Once you have your players made you can either join a human run team, make your own team, or join a CPU run team and compete in games vs. thousands of other players.

You don't have to pay any money just to play, and spending cash to upgrade is completely optional. Give it a try, my in game name is "Untouchable" if you have questions or need anything!

    That is spiffy...

Yeah, I used the word "spiffy" in a football forum...

Seriously though, how are we gonna get this team off the ground?

I am ready to throw a couple of sawbacks to the internet.

Let's get this team into the Championship!

(I'm still cheap, I'm only willing to spend 2 saw backs this season...)

Dude, throw the damn football. Your numbers look like you play in another offense everyone hear is familiar with.

Trust me, we threw the ball a fair amount, we just didn't have the opportunity to get WRs very far downfield before the QB was under pressure. Actually that does sound familiar. Alas the growth of our O-linemen, the addition of Arion Roaf and another top WR will help immensely.

    Is Roaf Omar's competition?

Do we need any more defensive players?

I'm pretty sure most of the needs are lined up with TC's D-league players. We'll probably call those guys up late next season if we are making a playoff run, otherwise we'll let them continue to get snaps and develop in the D-League.

There is a thread on the team forum http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_...read_id=255402 that discusses positional needs and has names of players if someone is lined up for the spot.

Of course, players can only remain on CPU teams until they reach level seven. So a wise formula might be to have our developemental players remain, unboosted, on a CPU team and get all of that they can from it, then, once they reach level seven, they can boost and join the team.

Unfortunately, it looks as if we will not be able to get out of the AAA league. All of the teams that were interested, and a good fit for AAA, have chosen to remain in their lower leagues, so they can easily dominate the lesser teams there.

So this season may not be much friendlier to us. Hopefully, free agency will help to bring some of our competition down some. Also, there is a fair chance that some teams will be "turned-over". Meaning that their owner will be unable to/uninterested in continuing as team owner. That generally kills a teams roster, and starts them all over.

We should have started the team in season one.

Who's the guy that gave us the link before we got the Ottawa Chiefs going?
