    America’s Best!

    Land of the free
    Home of the brave
    America’s best
    Has gone to their grave
    Defending our rights
    At home and abroad
    A beacon of light
    Reveal the road they trod
    The one less traveled
And only the bravest dare go
    They fought for our liberty
    And the freedom we know
Regretless; placing themselves in harms way
Not all have passed, but are alive still today
Lifting the colors for all to see
    That America’s best
Made the land of the free

Thank you, I wrote it at work one slow night, not sure what inspired me to write it, but it reflects how I truly feel.

Thanks to all the fallen veterans.

It's good to have a national holiday for all servicewomen, and servicemen, past and present.

    Happy (late) Memorial Day.
