Default Is it too early for this???????????

So I see LJ is ready and eager to get back in the swing of things. What are some early predictions for his yardage this coming seasons?

I think many people are underrating Charles.

He displayed good vision at Texas, and he is pretty cut physically, this without hitting the weights as regularly as most football players because of his track obligations.

In a couple of years, with regular weight training, he could put on a couple lbs of muscle without losing speed, and he'll be a guy that can run it inside or outside.
I haven't watched Charles play, but someone the other day compared him to Derrick Blaylock. Would that be accurate?

It's a fair comparison, though I think Charles is a bit stronger and more physical.

I kinda think Charles looks like a M. Allen type of running back!

You know, people hate it when comparison's are drawn between former stars and players that haven't established themselves, but when I watch Charles, I see a guy with Priest Holmes potential.

He has that same kind of vision and elusiveness, and now that he no longer has any track obligations, with some work in the weight room, he can run with the same kind of power.

Add his speed to the mix, and "Wow!".

Marcus Allen was more elusive then physical.

Allen was both physical and elusive.

The thing that was amazing about Allen was his ability to make a thin crease in the line look like a huge hole.

...And his ability to avoid taking a direct hit which helped prolong his career; that and riding the bench in Oakland. IMO
