Tim Hasselbeck and Adam Schein had a reasonably funny segment last night on Sirius about who would have a better chance of winning in Minnesota as a starting QB...OTHER than Tavarius Jackson. At one point they had over 40 QB's including John David Booty ahead of Jackson. Included in the group was Damon Huard, but NOT Brodie Croyle.
It was a really funny segment, but underscores just how little respect the "experts" have when it comes to our Chiefs and the QB position. It's got to be a little embarassing when reportewrs are pretty much picking the ball boy and some dude from the freakin CFL to start ahead of Tavarius, and our STARTING QB of the future can't make the list.
Maybe Grbac/Satt was right...LOL nah.
Do you get to choose which calls have priority?
Do you think Brodie deserves to be ahead of Tavaris???? I sure as heck don't. Brodie has not proven anything to me yet.
The guys on Sirius NFL radio are normally right on the money. And on this point, I think they are again. I hope Brodie proves us all wrong by doing something that he has yet to do, win.
I agree on both your points. But the key is the O-line giving Croyle the time he needs so that we can see if he has the mettle and the intellingence to be a NFL QB. Boy, I could see it being fugly this season, especially the first few games. :punchy:![]()
