I have no expectation of going ot a SB every year, or every other year, or even every 5 years, but I fully expect that if you hold the responsibilty that Carl does for 10 years, you better get to the SB, or get your *** out.
The fact is, Lamar Hunt sucked *** as an owner for 36 years, because he allowed Jack Steadman to remain on the job for to long, and allowed carl to do the same witout any accountability for the team's failures on the field.
I would have to agree. I feel that for the length of time Carl has been GM that it's been more miss than hit. He bought into Vermeil's philosophy of signing veterans and trying to win now, with no realistic thought to the future and their drafts during that time reflect that. Now we're in the situation of cleaning house and practically starting over and I feel that we've done well in the draft over the last couple of years, but I think the credit goes more to Herm than to Carl. But I think that we're going to have to put up with Carl for a couple of years more before judgement can be rendered on Carl's "latest" plan.
