Default Chiefs 16 1/2 point dogs in opener...

16 1/2 pts by far the most lop-sided game opening weekend. I can see their reasoning - 4-12 going on the road vs 16-0. But they're not seeing what I'm seeing. Pats have an aging defense that didn't improve much this off season. OL nicked up. Brady injured and hasn't played. Look for Hali and co. in TB's grill all day. If we don't, Moss and Welker will be tough to stop. I see Maroney getting a lot of carries. Look for Pollard or Paige to run-blitz his a$$ all day long. This will be Tank and Turks coming out party. Johnson, Bowe, and Gonzalez? Are you kidding me? How can you not be excited about this team? I think the Pats are still reeling and Chiefs will not only cover, but will win outright 31-17!!!!

I think 31-17 is pretty optimistic but, I dont think its impossible or even to win. Im not holding out hope that we win or ATLEAST give them a run for their money. I REALLY DOUBT that NE will cover. I truely think this is going to be the best test of our yound team and truely hope we make a very good showing if not pick up a upset!

Patsies lose at Foxboro to your Kansas City Chiefs. Done. We've got the talent, the youth, the speed, and the coaching to get this done. Chiefs record September 08: 1-0. BBQ over clam chowder. Its just the way it is.

While 31-17 might be a stretch, I think we have a pretty good chance to at least cover the spread. I told a friend of mine to look for the upset, he knows I am a Chiefs fan though so took it with a grain of salt.

    He might get a surprise.

On NFL Network they were talking with Brady when asked if he would play he hesitated, might be the first missed game in 110. I dont think he will miss the whole game but what I do believe is he isnt going to be as Bradyish as he normally is and will not be as mobile. I also wonder if he will play the whole game. Hmm could the giant fall. Still remaining optimistic here, I think the Chiefs can pull it off and beat the Pats.

If Brady is in there, we need to be on him like stink on sh!t. Hopefully our linebackers can knock him out w/o help from db's. Otherwise could be a long day. Without Brady, Pats are nothing. They have no backup. Derrick, Tamba, and Dorsey should, and will, knock TB into next week. Its over, folks. Chiefs roll and Sportcenter Sunday night should be awesome!!!

Probably just as well, I've got some odds to update over in the sportsbook, so I should keep my head somewhat clear.
