    Default thigpen confirmed starter

    thoughts - scared? angry?

i'm not sure how much worse we can look this season, i think i'm now fully prepared to weather the storm.

i have to admit i'm interested to see if thig looks any better after a week of reps as the confirmed starter.

Huard's at the plateau of his playing ability, but Thigpen conceivably has the chance to improve given the chance to play against starting defenses.

We know what Huard can do, and this season's awash anyway. Let the kid show us if he has true potential or not while the perfect opportunity for it has presented itself.
Frankly it does not matter who starts, the way the line is playing no QB on this team has a chance.

I'm happy we're going to stick with one starter. Maybe this means Thigpen will get more reps which in turn would help him out during game time. Let's wait and see what he does.

even if thigpen makes a lot of mistakes...he is at least young. no reason to play a 35 year old qb on a rebuilding team. Just takes the emphasis off "rebuilding."
I'll agree with this, it's disheartening to see sacks off every blitz. With a mobile QB that can run away from a blitz, defenses might not play as aggressive, which could open up the run.

I am OK with giving the ball to Thigpen.
THAT quarterback is NOT a Pro Bowl quarterback. Never was and never will be.

Thigpen should have been given the ball last year.

Well hey, look at that. Some support for Thigpen. I truly thinks he gives us a better chance to win than Huard does just on his legs alone. From what I saw, his decision making wasn't horrible apart from the first two or three drives, which you can blame on jitters.
When they opened the playbook up, I thought that he did pretty damn well. I say GO THIGPEN, the REAL future of the Chiefs.... hopefully.

I disagree with a lot of what the chiefs coaching is doing (mainly coordination, Both O and D), but it is time for these guys to sink or swim.

I guess what I am saying is that I want there to be no question at all to whether or not the chiefs have a QB by the end of the season that can do the job. I mean dont you?

I agree . It is time now to see where we stand with our QB's . In my opinion Brodie will not be the man next year! . I just read elsewhere that it might be 4-5 more weeks before hes back and ready to play. Which is basically like last year only playing like 5-6 games . Two years of this and him being injury prone will be his exit outa here . too bad , because as a person he is top notch.
