Once upon a time I loved the packers because of Favre. Well, Favre isn't with packers anymore so I'm glad it didn't come through.
I'd love to have Tony traded to a team that has at least one player I think is great.

I wouldnt havve taken a 3rd round pick either! Shockey cant stay healthy for a season and gets a 2nd and a 5th. TG is record holder for 3 records....its worth a 2nd and another or even 1st and another

I am entirely on the other side of the fence on this one.

TG wanted to go. CP said he would let him go if someone offered a 3rd round pick.

It seems that a couple of teams offered that third round pick, and CP didn't accept.

Now, as well as not gaining a 3rd, we have disrespected TG.

And watching him play for a losing team is little consolation to me.

I'm with you. Now we all know there is no way in hell Tony will stay with this team after the season is over. We will get zero for him, where we could have picked up a 3rd round pick had we let him go.
But worse than that is the complete disrespect the King has shown Tony. Tony is going to the Hall of Fame, and the King basically took a king-sized dump on him. It really is a sad time in long storied history of the Kansas City Chiefs.

The reason why we demanded a second round from the Packers is because they were putting so many conditions on the trade.

If Tony had not finished out the final 3 1/2 years of his contract, we would have wound up having to give draft picks back to the Packers. How would that have helped us?

Tony refused to go to the Bills.

I'm tired of hearing about this.
Thanks for all the yards, TDs, and memories, Priest!

Did not know Tony refused to go to Fubbalo.
Would CP have signed off on that, or ask for a 2nd pick to go there??

Who knows? All that's been said is Fubbalo offered a third for Tony and he killed it right there by saying no.

Hmmm. Maybe TG didn't want to play on another afc team, or he thought Fubbalo was beneath him?! Or possibly artificial turf up there too hard on 33 y/o legs?
At any rate, sounds like he had a chance to get outta here and didn't take it. I hope he has a good game vs titans...

The only reason a beer sweats around Canada is because he's decided it will be the next beer he drinks.
