Default Week 16 Cheat Sheet: Some coal for that stocking

The Chiefs are now just two losses shy of a franchise-worst mark of 14 for the season. Yes, they're young. And sure, they've had a bunch of injuries. But a 1-6 record at Arrowhead — including two games that were in the bag — isn't exactly holiday cheer-worthy. Longtime Chiefs GM Carl Peterson resigned on Monday. Here's to hoping Herm sticks around and brings Kansas City back from the ashes next year.

I don't think it would be best to keep Herm around.

Herm Edwards: We like Herm. He's always good for a press conference quote, his players look up to him, and he's all-around good for the NFL. But if you're playing "to win the game," you have to get your team to close out fourth quarters and actually win a few games. In Week 9, the Chiefs led 24-3, only to give up 20 second-half points and ultimately lose 30-27 in overtime to Tampa Bay. Fast-forward six weeks and the Chiefs are leading the hated Chargers 21-3 in the first half, only to fall 22-21 in the final moments after a bobbled onside kick. Both collapses occurred in the usually unfriendly confines of Arrowhead Stadium.

I'm really hoping that Herm does not stick around.

All we have to hope for is that the new general manager will get rid of Hermie because obviously Clark won't do it on his own.

We all are but I doubt that Hermie would resign.

I think Clark Hunt will bring a GM who will agree with him that Herm should be fired.
