I have a team on NFL.com that leads all teams in scoring, yet missed the playoffs with a 5-9 record. Very frustrating.

Been there buddy. The very first year I played FF I drafted killer team. Problem was, my opponents always had their scoring binge of the year against my team. So even though I scored the most points in the league by a landslide, I didn't make the playoffs.

Oh, and that was the first year they ran the league head-to-head style instead of total points. I should have been the champion and ended up the chump with the Vermeil team. Score a ton of points with nothing to show for it.
THAT quarterback is NOT a Pro Bowl quarterback. Never was and never will be.

Just bad luck. Teams just so happen to have their big week when playing against me, gaining just enough points to win.

By the way... NFL.com kinda sucks for fantasy football. I like yahoo and fleaflicker better than everywhere else that I have played.

If they could just find a way to put the best of both Yahoo and Fleaflicker together, we would have one hell of a FF engine.

Tried it for the first time this year. Wasn't bad, but I have yet to try being a league manager there.

I always liked it. Plenty of stats and easy to use. I quit FFL though because I always suck so bad.
