Default Time For Eagles D To Earn Their Pay

The Eagles' biggest weakness a year ago was the play of the front seven, and in particular the defensive line which did not live up to its hype, expectations or paychecks. This season the team is hoping for a healthy Jevon Kearse, who is coming back from a terrible knee injury, a bounce-back year from Darren Howard, who was a free-agent bust last year and something, anything from 2006 first-round pick Brodrick Bunkley, who barely got on the field. Coordinator Jim Johnson likes to use an eight-man rotation and those three figure to be huge part of it along with new DTs Ian Scott and Montae Reagor. How quickly this all comes together and how it looks when it does could be essential to the team's success.

The Eagles were my "Underdog" pick, last year. They are still, quite good. The defense doesn't appear to have lost anything and the offense gets another chance to keep McNabb healthy. The team to beat, in the NFC East. IMO

THAT quarterback is NOT a Pro Bowl quarterback. Never was and never will be.
