Man I wonder how good our secondary would be if the QB didnt have enough time to finish his Margarita before throwing the ball. With a little pressure from the front 4 or 7, our secondary can be great, IMO.

Flowers was a nice snag, but I thought we'd grab him. I was really impressed with Brandon Carr coming in from a minor program, taking the start, then mentoring Leggit... gotta say our CB's are looking good for the future.

Good for Brandon. I think our depth at corner improved more this year than any other position.

Brandon Flowers deserves to be on the All Rookie Team. I do not have the exact numbers, but he had one of the lowest completion per pass attempt percentage his direction. It is a good sign of how a CB is doing, I'm surprised those numbers are not looked at more.

If there is only one bright spot in the legacy of Herm Edwards in KC, then this will be it. In time, he may go down in history for wrecking this team and being our worst coach ever, or not, but you can never deny that he probably saved our secondary with the Brandons and Leggett. Was it worth the last three years? No, but it helps us forget about Warfield and McCleon *shudder*

One of the few bright spots on the team this year, he definately deserves it.
