Don't know how relevant this is but I just found it out and thought I'd point out that the last of Herm Edwards staff has been fired/released (minus Gailey). Names included:
Jon Embree: Tight Ends Coach
Michael Ketchum: Defensive Assistant/Assistant Linebackers Coach
Curtis Modkins: Running Backs Coach
Kevin Patullo: Offensive Assistant/Quality Control
Eric Price: Wide Receivers Coach

We're richer for having lost them.
Maybe, maybe not depends who they bring in. Right now our coaching staff has 5 position coaches including the HC.
Head Coach - Todd Haley
Offensive Coordinator - Chan Gailey
Offensive Line - Bob Bicknell
Assistant Offensive Line - Joe D’Alessandris
Defensive Line - Tim Krumrie
I'd really like to see Gailey stay. The success we had on offense at the end of the season gives me something to be excited about. I hope he stays and I hope they continue to make spread plays part of the playbook.

i still say galey will stay and i bet that hayley wants to stay with that spread offense, he will have to figure out the defensive side of the ball and then they will be fine. I just hope they stick with thiggy..or at least give him a chance.
I cant believe Krumrie was retained, our D-Line sucked last year. Cant wait to see who the new coaches are. I also say dont give it to Thigpen but let him compete for it.

I haven't seen anything saying that Krumrie was retained. We just haven't seen anything saying that he was let go.
It's possible that Haley hasn't had a chance to evaluate him yet. It also would make sense that the Chiefs would find a DC before letting go of all the defensive coaching staff as well. The DC may want to have some input on the defensive coaching staff.
And soon enough....Players will be cut, released, traded, etc. I believe this will be the biggest roster shake-up that has ever taken place in Chief history.
Buckle-up and enjoy the ride!
