why does each topic list the posts from the most recent to the original? I hate having to go to the last page to see the first post and "go backwards" is there any way to fix this.

Go into the 'your options' folder in your control panel.

If you click on the thread title it should take you straight to the beginning.

I changed this for you. As mentioned above, this option can be changed by going to your User CP
