What do you think the most successful year for the Chiefs was?

Personaly I think it's 1969, when we won Super Bowl IV.

Also added a poll so you guys can roughly choose what decade was most successful for the Chiefs (multiple choice). I chose 1960s & 1970s

I agree with the 60's (1969) being the best. However, so much has changed since then...starting with the merger of the AFL/NFL, on to so many more complex NFL rules & regulations...then free agency, salary caps, etc.. Different times for sure, think it was so much less complicated to create a winning team back then.

Post merger...the 90's were no doubt the best. :)

I chose 2000's. Its really a hard choice tho. In 69, we got a trophy. In the 90's we had DT. Currently we have Tony G. Use to have one of the best offenses in the league, and we had priest.

And soon, its going to get better.

I chose the 90's because I wasn't that old when the chiefs won the superbowl, I wasn't a fan of any team then.
In the 90's the chiefs played tough, real tough; they made teams scared to play them at arrowhead.

I choose 2009 - the year we dumped Peterson and hired Pioli. These next 5 years are gonna be an awesome time to be a Chiefs fan.

You have to remember that CP gave the chiefs some pretty awesome years too, he wasn't all bad.

I thought he was terrible. Don't really want to go into all the reasons now, but the most glaring is:
    20 years: 0 Superbowl appearances.
