Default Pioli says there is no situation with LJ

Pioli mention on a interview with NFL network that he is under contract and has no situation.

That makes me wonder if he has talked to LJ already or not. I thought LJ would provide the best way to get more draft picks for us on draft day. But how Pioli is talking is that it appears that he wont have any problems with LJ.

here is his interview NFL Video Galleries

He has this 47 mil dollar contract because Peterson is a dumba$$ who got shipped outta here.
LJ is the team??? Are you kidding me???
Maybe 3 years ago....LJ is cooked.
Also the main reason I don't like LJ is because I don't like men that assault women.
Besides - he SAID he wants out. Let him go already...

His third arrest for assault came on February 24, 2008, after allegedly pushing a woman's head at a nightclub on February 24.

On October 10, 2008, Johnson was arrested for the fourth time and charged with one count of non-aggravated assault for allegedly spitting a drink in a woman's face at a Kansas City nightclub on Oct. 10. The woman involved, Ashley Stewart, has since filed a civil suit against Johnson, accusing him of negligence, assault and battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress and negligent infliction of emotional distress.
It was announced on Oct. 16, 2008, that Johnson would be deactivated for the October 19 game against the Tennessee Titans in response to violating an undisclosed team rule. The team said his suspension for this game was unrelated to the newest criminal investigation.

LJ didnt kill anyone. Yeah he got what he deserved. now just shovle that rock up his a** and earn his contract.

I'll agree with you there. Just because I don't like the guys character doesn't mean he can't be a good football player for us. I just think his best years are behind him.

LJ is either going to be traded for value or given the ball and told to earn his contract.

Unlike other players recently released, there is little sense in out-right releasing the fella aside from the bitter animosity many take out on him as a result of both his actions and our recently L/W record.

Despite what many may believe, we are not set at the back position and to rid ourselves of our best player at the position is ridiculous.

If he can't turn things around, on the field or off, we get rid of him next year... costs less against the cap and possibly we have players set at the position.

HB is one of the areas on our team that is not beset with youth problems. Although, the leadership coming from the position is horrendous.

    ***IMO, please don't kill me.***

Financially, our best option for LJ is to let him play out his contract on the field. We'll see what Pioli/Haley has in mind for this clown...

Im with you. i think LJ is our best option to start winning games. Thigpen cant put the team on his back. Sure he is an idiot (LJ). but tell his daddy to tell him to hike his boots up and get out of the dog house. I hope he turns his act around. but if not, keep him in dog house and let him rot.

If we start winning, I can guarantee it won't be because of LJ. It will be because of a new winning philosophy that Pioli/Haley will bring to this team. And of course an overhauled defense...

and your facts are based on? Pioli was quick to say that he is under contract. Making me believe that he's going to keep him here.

hey, im hoping for the same thing here. i just dont want to see our best option for winning games here wasted. you think LJ is a waste and i dont. to me he has been miss managed. by the team and himself. Hopefully all of that is cleared up by Pioli. Im sure you wouldnt mind seeing LJ as his old self and tearing up the league.
