Default Bart Scott Agrees to Terms with Jets

Not sure what Pioli is doing lately, but it doesn't seem to be meeting with players we need.

I was just stating his overall philosophy as I see it. I'm sure if the situation and player was right, he would go after the guy..

    That is so true.

Thats how he built his 1st two SB teams. No big names.

And when someone got too big, like Deion Branch, hed trade him and get two more players or younger players.

You don't need superstars to win. You need good players, in the right environment. The few big name guys he has signed in the past like Randy Moss, fit. He didn't sign them because they were good. Thats Pioli's style, and thats why his team won.

Its the first day of the free agency....we do have a lot of money under the cap, but that doesn't mean we need to spend it all in the first day. We didn't get Haynesworth or Bart Scott. Big deal, I mean we are going to get some players but don't think the best players are asking KC to offer them money. We just won 2 games last year so it's going to be hard to sell right now. In due time we will find some guys that want to come here and I think Pioli will get some guys that can help us out. I think Vrable will help our case in signing new defensive players. I hope noone on here says Vrable is too old and overpaid because that guy gets it done.

Exactly, and I'd be hard pressed to say Bart Scott is a superstar. The guy the Ravens need to concentrate on is the guy they are.. Ray Lewis.

I have my own opinions about him but he does win and bring leadership.

Good ups on the Jets for doing the losing thing yet again.
