Same place, different decade?

Twenty Years ago, the Chiefs hired Carl Peterson. Before Carl came and with him Marty, we really sucked! Then, the draft. Guess who, Derrick Thomas.

20 years later, look where we are. We hired Scott Pioli, who brought in Todd Haley. Soon the draft will come. And a young man will emerge. That man will be Aaron Curry...hopefully. Its begging to repeat history!

What do you think?

I agree to that. But I by all this, I meant really a LB who will be a BIG play maker for the Chiefs!!!

I'm really starting to get the feeling that Curry will be something special. He's the top rated prospect on almost every draft site I've gone to and his combination of size, speed, and strength is unparalleled. I'd love to see a Curry, Vrabel, Johnson, Hali linebacking corp in the 3-4 next season.

I worry about our offensive line, but I'd hate to miss out on a star.

If anything this reminds me of the Dallas Cowboys 20 years ago minus the new Owner.

1. New Owner (Jerry Jones)
2. New Coach (Jimmy Johnson)
3. Risky QB Move (Troy Aikman)

And as history would have it...Cowboys were superbowl champions in 4 years.

Only bad thing is they were terrible his first season... (1-15)
