    Default Redskins release Jason Taylor!

Looks like redskins are trying to clean house alittle for their new players.

Taylor may have a year or 2 left in him. What about bringing him here until we can fill our gap at DE?
Or as another OLB if we go 3-4?

If we get him on the cheap, bring him in. But don't give him big money.

I will be disapointed if we sign him. He was a great player not long ago, but signing him at this point would simply be a move to sell tickets.

    I'm in.

He would fill a major need for this team, that is otherwise unlikely to get filled.

That doesn't mean that we should bak-up the money truck to his door. But, if we can get him to come here for a lower price, then that would be ideal.

I don't think he would come cheap enough. After looking up his salary, unless he took a huge pay cut then i'm not sure it would be a good catch.
He made $8.3mil at Washington. Although they do severely overpay their players.
I would be ok with bringing him in around $3.5mil for a one year contract. But i highly doubt it

I wouldn't mind going for him or Brooks at the 8.3mil over two years price tag. They are both old and we don't need that so much but we could always cut ties if they are ineffective if the deal is short term.

It looks as to his tank is on E with 3.5 sacks. but he was injuried and played in a very better division. only on the cheap side would i like him here. No more that 4 mill and 2 years.

If we are moving toward the new england blue print ,and it does appear that way ,i would trust them.they have made a living getting every last drop out of sr. players

If he makes our team better....and he does.
    and
we have plenty of salary cap room....and we do
    and
    if it's not my money.....and it isn't

then I say back the truck up on a short term contract. He is not a long term answer, but he could help this team. I'd rather have him on the roster versus going into the season $20mm under the cap.
