Kansas City Chiefs - Chiefs Agree to Terms with WR C.J. Jones

The Kansas City Chiefs announced on Thursday that the club has agreed to terms with WR C.J. Jones.
Jones (5-11, 195) has spent time on the 53-man roster with Cleveland (2003) and New England (2008), in addition to practice squad stints with Cleveland (2003-04) and New England (2007). He caught 10 passes for 118 yards with a TD for the Berlin Thunder of NFL Europe in 2006 and went to camp with Seattle that season. He originally entered the NFL as a rookie free agent with Cleveland in 2003.
The Boynton Beach, Florida native was a two-year starter at Iowa, playing in 24 games. Jones caught 72 passes for 902 yards with 10 TDs and returned 31 kickoff returns for 743 yards for the Hawkeyes. He began his collegiate career at Garden City (Kan.) Community College (’97-00), where he totaled 74 receptions for 1,463 yards and 18 TDs, while also scoring eight punt return TDs. Jones was a first-team all-state selection as a senior at Santaluces High School in Santaluces, Florida.
