Default Mike Goff has agreed to contract terms with Chiefs

    The Kansas City Star

DANA POINT, Calif. | The Chiefs agreed to contract terms today with veteran offensive lineman Mike Goff. Goff has some versatility and could wind up starting for the Chiefs at center or right guard.
The 33-year-old Goff played 11 NFL seasons, the first six with Cincinnati and the last five with San Diego. He has been a starter for the past nine seasons.

Don;t know much about him. Is he any good? You would think so if he started the last 9 years right?

he can easily start at guard for the next 2 years, a mauler type, good locker room guy...this is another signing that shows KC thinks they can make a run this year at the division title

Good signing. Goff is good enough to be a massive upgrade at C. Which means our left side of the line should be decent (at worst) next season.

If Goff is at center then would Niswanger be an up grade at right guard that we have now.

Anyone would be an upgrade at RG over what we had in 2008.

I'll believe that Niswanger can be a competent starter on the OL when I see it.

At least we're addressing the "O" line, of course we kinda needed to.

Man, it's been years since I've heard that Bible story, but didn't it go something along the lines of Samson lost his power because he placed faith in something that wasn't real instead of his Lord. Have faith in Goff's ability and the organization, not his hair!
