    SCORING OFFENSE
    • KC averaged 18.2 points per game to rank 13th in the AFC and 26th in the NFL with 291 total points. New Orleans led the NFL in scoring with 463 points, an average of 28.9 ppg.
    • The Chiefs scored 270 actual offensive points (16.9 ppg) to rank 13th in the AFC and 25th in the NFL.
    • KC scored 32 offensive TDs (nine rushing, 23 passing) in 2008.
    • KC recorded 35 overall TDs (nine rushing, 23 passing, two interception returns and one special teams fumble return).
    • The Chiefs had a streak of 84 consecutive games without being shut out snapped in a 34-0 loss at Carolina (10/5). It was the fourth-longest streak in franchise history.
    • The Chiefs are 48-13 (.787) when scoring 30 points or more dating back to ‘95, including a 31-6 (.838) mark at Arrowhead.
