Chiefs sign receiver, long snapper
The Kansas City Star
The Chiefs signed wide receiver Rodney Wright and long snapper Tanner Purdum.
Wright was drafted by Buffalo in the seventh round in 2002 and spent parts of two seasons on the Bills’ practice squad. He played four seasons with San Jose in the Arena League, catching 292 passes and 42 touchdowns.
He played in college at Fresno State.
Purdum played in college at Baker, where he was quite possibly the only quarterback and long snapper in football history.
