    Default 8/7c?

When i watch NFL games from CBS when it has advertising for other TV shows, it says the time they are on like this: "8/7c"! What is that supposed to mean?

Thanks for clearing that up for me. Just 2 more things:

    1. What do you guys do if a TV show starts at say 8:30? Here in Australia we just say 8pm or 8;30om
    2. What about western time zone?

    1. Yeah, but what if a show starts at 8:30 instead of just 8?

    There is EST (East Coast)
CST (Central, or Midwest) "Chiefs time"
    MT (Mountain) "Donk time"
    PAC (Pacific...West Coast) "Faider time"
Then there is different time in Hawaii and Alaska.

Hawaii is 4 or 5 hrs differnce from Chiefs time, depending on DST. Dont rememeber AK.

If a show starts at 8 on the east coast, it starts at 7 central time, and I think 6 in mountian time.

West Coast gets delayed by a couple hours I think.
