Default Who's the greatest Chief of all-time?

My favorite player by far is Derrick Thomas as a player but I don't think he is the greatest Chief of all time. Tony Gonzalez I think would be one of the top player of all time though.

But, thinking of the greatest Chief of all time, even though he never played a snap, would have to he Lamar Hunt?

    What are other peoples opinions?

The greatest player to ever wear a Chiefs uniform would have to be Joe Montana. Though I wouldn't consider him the best Chief. Good question, let me think about it.

chief31, do you think that Shields and Roaf will be first ballot HOF's. I think they will. They sure do deserve it.

I don't know. They definitely should be, both of them. But it seems so easy for people to overlook offensive linemen.

that is true, but it's very hard to overlook these two guys. Bruce Matthews went in this year so that means something I think.

Roaf ahs a better chance, I think, of going in on the first ballot. Because left tackles have been getting alot more recognition. Thankfully, fans aren't the ones voting, because there would be about five O-linemen in the Hall, now, if that were the case.

    Len Dawson.

To me, it takes more than just skill to be a good player. This guy is still supporting the Chiefs.

I agree with luv, Len Dawson is a staple of the community.
Thanks for all the yards, TDs, and memories, Priest!

He was at River-Falls last year, for training camp. Appearently, I just missed him, because everyone at the practice facility had his autograph, when I arrived that day.
