Per Rotoworld:
"Chiefs waived WR Will Franklin.
Franklin, the club's 2008 fourth-round pick, must have done something wrong in the offseason program because he was one of the Chiefs' few young receivers with potential. The 23-year-old speedster caught seven passes in 13 games as a rookie. Franklin figures to be claimed off waivers soon. Apr. 13 - 6:29 pm et"
I wonder what happened?

Hmm I thought the kid was a good possibility. However, I think with Engram coming in and that the Chiefs already have so many wide outs, it was likely just a roster move point.
Are you man enough? Eric Berry? Apparently Not!

Why wouldn't they wait to cut him until after camp? The kid could of at least competed for a spot...Unless they're planning a surprise for the draft?

There will be other surprises before the smoke clears. IE. where does Hali fit in? He hasn't consistantly rushed the passer or stopped the run and it's doubtful if he can drop back into coverage. I'm sure there will be others also.
