What are the Chiefs thinking about doing with the No. 3 pick? Could they be leaning toward taking an offensive player?

Why would we pick an Oline with our first pick? Defense all the way.

I personally would like to see the Chiefs spend at least 1 of their first 2 picks on a defensive pass rusher. This video does make a good case for an OL pick though. The Chiefs have a lot of LB's once you consider Hali will likely be a LB in a 3-4 scheme. You'd have to think Vrabel and Z. Thomas, and D Johnson are all for sure starters.

Agreed, and when the older veterans shuffle off we deal with filling those holes through the draft and FA. IMO

i'd like to see a top left OT first then the best pass rusher availabe next. or vice versa depending on best available. we have already made improvements in our line and maybe average at best now but adding a top LT may upgrade to a good line. next we had no pass rush so adding a specialist to help free up hali, who may end up as an LB used on passing downs would upgrade both the lb's and secondary by cutting down the time qb's have to throw. really anyone anywhere probably would be an upgrade from last year.
