just adding sum depth with this one.good sp. teamer
Just read this at AFC West ESPN Blog that the Chiefs have signed TE Sean Ryan. Whats this mean?
I think this is Pioli adding some depth to the TE Slot just in case a late trade offer comes through for Tony Gonzales on or before Draft day, which I highly expect will happen. This is a very smart move, and with this move I highly suspect that Pioli is expecting a good trade offer for Tony before the draft starts....

that was my first thought also. i would obviously rather keep gonzo. but if atl gave up an second round pick for him and somebody like washington, denver, nyj,or tampa bay offerd another second round for swapping picks in the first round we would not look to bad during draft day.i am kind of curious if the giants are also interested in gonzo they are in desperate need to fill the production hole buress left behind
I know everyone is sick of the Tony trading saga, myself included. But I really, really think that a trade is going to happen. Its gonna be a very BITTERSWEET day Saturday.
yeah if it happens it will be during the draft most likely you never know.like i said i sure hope gonzo stays .but i am going to have fun with this one here is a scenerio washingtons owner daniel snyder is so in love with mark sanchez that he offers tight end chris cooley to kc straight across to swap first round picks with kc. kc then deals gonzo to atl for a second round pick i would probably take that nobody take this serious i know it will not happen but man that would be great

I think this guy is being brought in to replace Mike Merritt, not Tony G. We were only carrying 2 tight ends after he was cut.
