It never seems to fail the raiders are hapless!!! I cannot believe they wasted their #7 pick on Darrius Heyward Bey. WOW what do yall think about this apparent boneheaded move?

Anyway, their new Coach, Coach Cable (Larry the Cableguy comes to mind) says they chose this receiver because of all the guys that were taken in the first round, this is the only guy that played in a pro-style offense. He said they went out for this guy in particular and were happy to get him.

I am not sure how playing in a pro-style offense would help a wide receiver, I can see that for backfield players (QB, RB) maybe even offensive lineman, but to me a WR receiver lines up outside anyway.

Well, they had a reason in their minds.

hes probably referring to the routes that he ran.

I'm wondering if King Carl was hired as a draft consultant by the Faiders org.

I must at this time, say, that I think Al Davis is a brilliant NFL football mind, and I am so very happy that he continues his genius guidance of the faders. Long live Al Davis, a toast to your health! May you have many more years of sharing your genius with us.

Really? A team that can't stop the run picks up a run stuffing DE and that is not any better than the faiders pick? Don't see your logic on that one.
The only reason a beer sweats around Canada is because he's decided it will be the next beer he drinks.
