At least we've got Smith thinking about us.

In no way, shape, or form have the Broncos embraced the Pats way. Their sloppy and public trade negotiations chased off their franchise QB. They traded a 2010 1st rounder for a 5'9" CB. They drafted a RB in the 1st round.

Denver is going to be a very bad team for a very long time.

    - Denver traded its QBOTF

    - Lost the value gained in that trade (the 2nd first round pick and THEIR own pick for that matter)

    - Signed a stable of aging RBs

    - Did not seriously attend the needs of their porous front 7 in either the draft or FA (thus far)

    - Are stuck with Ryan Simms and Kyle Orton at QB

Things aren't necessarily looking up or Patriot-ish so far this late into the offseason.

Like JML said not looking like they've improved at all. Looks to be a tough season in Mile High.

Well, we do have Scott Pioli and Matt Cassell! 2 very good pick-ups for the chiefs this off-season from the patriots. :)
