Thumbs up The Difference in Coaching....This sums it up!

Looks like herm was to "laxed" in his approach with the team. These guys are actually enjoying the intensity of this training camp and new coaching regime!

I'll wait to see if it translates to the field before I get excited. Many veteran hated how much DV worked them and he was a players coach.

I tend to agree with how Haley is approaching the attitude of play, but until I see a fundamentally and metally better team on the field. I won't let myself fall into the off season hype.

Funny thing I have noticed in regards to "working players to hard."

From my view, the NFL and NBA has more substitutions and "breaks" for players than ever before. God forbid that one of these stud athletes have to play 6 plays in a row!

    Wussies!

Its just more proof that Herm Edwards was the worst thing to come around to KC.

He had a: 1. Unconditioned team last year.
    2. Over weight team last year. 3. A team that didn't care last year.

There is a fine line between being a players coach and being a dictator. Players coach works fine with vets when you are winning. Not with rookies when you are losing.

Agreed, take Marty for example: I may not have always like how he coached in certain situations but he was a great motivator. IMO.

Wow wow wow, I think that's going a little far. Didn't care?! The chiefs always care.

You can blame Herm all you want for the disaster he turned this team into. But I will put this blame squarely on Peterson - for bringing Herm here in the first place. And trading away a draft pick to get him here to boot.
But all water under the bridge now. We have such a much better team already this year, and we haven't even taken the field yet!!!
    Can't wait.

Face it, half way thru the season, they all gave up. Wouldn't you if you weren't motivated?

I mean having herm as your HC wouldn't be all that motivating but how they not be at all motivated?
