Default Many People Believe that Dwayne Bowe Will Have a Break Out Season In 2009. The Buzz!

I Just noticed that the name Dwayne Bowe is everywhere right now. Alot of high expectations for him this year. A star WR in Kansas City? It doesn't even sound right. I've been a Chiefs fan for so long that I cant believe it until I see it. We've had some good ones and even Bowe has been awsome as of late, but to have a superstar top flight WR with an arrowhead on his helmet.....That would be awsome.! Good luck geeting to the next level Dwayne!

The prediction of Bowe having a breakout season could also be the end of Bowe. They already went out and hired a reliable receiver to replace him. If he keeps dropping balls, he won't be starting.
You kidding? Toomer was signed for depth and possibly as a WR2/3. Dropped balls or not, Bowe isn't being replaced any time soon. He's by far the top wideout on this team and one of the better ones in the league. The only thing Toomer is going to do for Bowe is help get his head on straight and hopefully take off a little pressure.

    Thanks Aussie!

Why does a team go pick up a Wide Receiver days into camp, after complaining about a lot of dropped balls.

If they really wanted to just ge another Wr. they do it before camp.

Common Sense says, Haley did not like what he saw in camp the first couple days, and decided it was necessary to look at other options, thus enter Toomer.

Haley has already ended all of the Bowe Show BS... I get the strong feeling that he does not care much for Bowe and regardless of where he drafted or what talent he does have. If he does not perform, he does not play. If you doubt that, talk to A. Boldin.

I think your "slightly" going too far. First of all, you have to remember that WE HAVE to pick up more players. Pioli has no choice. Right now we dont qualify for 2009 because we havent spent enough. Now obviously there is alot of other positions that he could have signed other than WR, so I agree that they want more production out of that area, but it does not have anything to do with Bowe. I was reading an article last night that was saying that Bowe was the only consistent reciever in camp and that him and Cassell are "Hot" right now.

Bowe is fine. I dont think Toomer's signing has anything to do with him period.

I for one think the signing of Toomer and Engram is to teach Bowe about what it takes to be a solid, dependable receiver in this league.

Well that and our new QB needs as many weapons as possible right now, especially since the loss of TG.
