Rep notification

I was on Sweets' site, gridironfans, and I have noticed that they have a notification of new rep. Just up in the upper right hand corner, in the same notification box as the "unread posts" and "Private messages". I like it and wonder if we could/should do the same, here.

I wouldn't mind seeing rep carry some weight. Along the lines of, the longer you have been here and the amount of posting you have done to increase the worth of your rep.

speak your mind,who cares if anyone else likes what you see or hear about the game. i you arent an expert of the chiefs but like them anyways, great. i have never gave anyone a bad rep or a good rep. i dont even look at my reps. i personal dont care if i have million good or bad reps.

Fair enough. I don't give good or bad reps based on whether I agree with people's opinion. I give good reps if people post well thought out posts. I give bad rep to people who spam and people who post things detrimental to the board. I have only given negative rep to one person.
