(Funny thing about the Vikings, by the way; they were great in the Tarkenton 70's era (other than in the Super Bowls, of course) but ever since 1980 they almost always are medicore (records ranging from 6-10 to 10-6). They almost never have a great year or a laugher year (1984 was an exception at 3-13 and 1998 was an exception at 15-1).

Pretty bizarre how Favre's last couple years have gone with double retirements and returns. But I guess anyone would come out of retirement for 12 million dollars!

Gonna be absolutely bonkers when he plays at GB this year.

Hey the Vikings are only 3 point favorites over us and it opened at 4 and a half. So maybe Vegas agrees with you guys that Favre will get throw a pick or two per possession he's in, heh heh!

I think the Vikes are going to be better this year. If they stick with their offense of last year (AP right, AP left, Taylor up the middle), Favre can be very effective. Think about it, if they dont throw too much, his arm will be in decent shape by the end of the season/playoffs.

What the Vikes really lacked last year was someone to drive them down the field when the game is close. I think a well rested Favre can do that.

Plus their division is totally up in the air. GB hasnt done anything to improve over the offseason. Detroit is Detroit. The Bears have huge questions and an aging defense.
