I don't understand why some of you think this would be giving up too much for Boldin. Roy Williams got more and he's much less proven. Boldin just made it to the Pro Bowl last season and is a great player. When drafting a player even in the first round it's a gamble, with Boldin there's no gamble. He's a sure thing. I think he's well worth a 1st and 5th round pick and a QB that doesn't fit our system.

considering we will probably be picking in the top 5, i say if we do trade away our 1st let it be for a top dog o-lineman.
2nd and a 5th plus thiggy for boldin.

I would love this deal. A 1st and a 5th for boldin would be a good deal. If next year is realy an uncaped year the draft would not be as importan that year. Perfect time to do it. To bad it wont happen. But one can dream. GO CHIEFS

they have Hightower and drafted Beanie Wells. I doubt they want another RB

Anyone who doesn't think Boldin is worth a 1st round pick is crazy. Boldin is a proven, tough player, who's made it to the Pro Bowl on more than one occasion. Picking him up would give Cassel another target to throw to (which he definitely needs) and would also prevent teams from focusing soley on Bowe and double teaming him constantly (which you know is going to happen.) Adding Boldin to our team would add another piece to our team and would be the start to building a high powered offense.

I understand that we have O-line problems, but we have 2 2nd round picks to help out our O-line problems and we have cash to spend next year in FA. This trade would be great for our franchise. It's not every day that you can pickup a player of Boldin's caliber. I think this would be agreat move for our franchise.

If this deal were/is true and the Donkey's weren't ****in' idiots in the draft this year by trading a 1st round draft choice to select a player in the 2nd round that they didn't even really need, they'd of had 3 first round picks in 2010. The Donkey's are really self imploding lately with all the dumb mistakes they've been making.
