After a couple of hiccups Ndukwe played very solid in the second half. He has looked miles ahead of anyone else at RT.

Nice to see that Haley can do a better job than Gailey.

true, no depth, I expect to see us pick us some off the waivers wire.

Thigpen? Played? his way out of a job.

Haley, much more aggresive in the play calling, I liked it alot.

There is lots of room for improvement, but I do see some bright spots--Linebackers, Croyle did good, imo. Charles and LJ will be a good RB tandem.
Croyle looked good? He was 5-16!

Offense looked good on some plays but then it looked like utter garbage on others. More like garbage then good for most of the game.

As a whole the offense (certain players at least) still seem to have brain farts and mental lapses at the most inopportune of times. Its almost as if certain players just don't comprehend certain situations which results in in either a stupid penalty or missed assignment or something that will just **** up a drive.

I mean Sean Ryan for example; makes a good play (that long catch and run) and gets us to mid field. Then LJ breaks a run and gets us within a couple of yards of the TD.

Its almost as if, at this point, the team just breaks down mentally; a holding penalty on Ryan. A delay of game right after that. A couple of over thrown passes and now its 4th and goal from the 20 and we have to kick a field goal. Its like the Chiefs just can't catch a break. Someone always has to screw up something at the wrong time.

Haven't watched the game yet, but just from the look of things. It looks like Haley's aggressive style of play calling, might give this offense some explosiveness.
Now we just need some stability..

I can't wait to see our D, it looks so much better already. :)

But dammit I want that win!

Went to the game had great seats I will post some observations later, but a couple quick observations right now.

Croyle - Has a gun but no touch at all on passes and little to no control. The reason he was 5-16 is he over threw every reciever by at least 5 yards most of the time 10.

#11 Wright is tiny, I have some pics but unless you see him in person you dont get the full effect. I believe he will be in this round of cuts, he got a lot of playing time and didnt do much with it.

Lelie was very active on the sidelines ... he didnt put the ball down until it was time for him to go in.

Battle looked really good again, another bright spot this year I believe.

O-Line didnt often give anyone much time, but they didnt seem rushed on every play either ... often the QB had a pocket but there was always someone around them (Rams) ...

Defense looked good but the offense was truly offensive.

Haley was coaching them up on the sidelines throughout most of the game, this is where not having a dedicated O-Coord is going to hurt, you have to watch the D also and cant spend the time dedicated to the O to work them through their mistakes, but I feel he did a good job balancing his time throughout the game.

More observations and tons of pictures to come.

I was also there and everything McLovin said is accurate. I'm going to rewatch the game on TV and make some more in depth player observations tonight.

The QB situation is not looking too good behind Cassel. Croyle is too indecisive, and Thigpen doesn't make smart decisions. Gutierrez isn't bad, but hard to evaluate since he's only played against mostly practice squad caliber guys.

Playcalling from Haley was very good and I think he's going to do a really good job with this team. The defensive front 7 once again looks very solid.

Its going to be a long season if third down efficiency does not improve. I think they converted 2 all night. PA-THE-TIC. :inwc:

Many cheap beers will be drank this season in sorrow and not many good ones in celebration!

What happened with Bowe? Why didn't he have any catches?
Did he drop them all or did the QB's miss him constantly or what?

Croyle over threw him twice on wide open touchdown passes.
