I found this while at the operation sports forums reading some Madden stuff and thought everyone might be interested. It sounds like we have a pro bowler in the making at corner.
Top 50 CBs in the NFL - Operation Sports Forums
9. Brandon Flowers, Kansas City Chiefs
Season Totals: 66 attempts, 4.83 YPA, 34.85 Forced INC%, 0 TDs, 2 INTs
My two cents: Meet the best CB from the 2008 draft class. Brandon Flowers had a ridiculously good rookie season. His 4.83 YPA is especially impressive when you consider that the Chiefs had the worst pass rush in the NFL. Flowers is the perfect example of how overrated speed is at the CB position. Sure it’s nice to be able to turn and run, but technique will always be the thing that separates good CBs from average CBs. A 4.55 40 yard-dash time means he is probably slower than almost every WR he has to cover. You might be looking at a top five CB if Flowers can continue to get better.

I never knew he was that slow, shows how football smart he must be to make up for it
Thats a nice read. Looks like the guy really did his homework. One thing that he didnt factor in is what type of defenses these corners played and if they were #2 Corners, meaning they were always covering the other teams #2 reciever.
Not to take anything away from Brandon, but he was a cover 2 corner. Using this guys stats, you cant compare him to a man on man corner like Nnamdi or Champ. After this year, we will know just how good #24 really is and I think the results will be positive.
I just looked all the way through it and saw Cromartie in the notables.
I remember a thread posted earlier about Cromartie bragging about how he was the best, along with Asomugha, and talking about how Bowe is nothing against him. I think he needs to look at his own stats.
Brandon Carr is a decent cornerback as well. As dumb as the Worm was, the one thing he did know was the defensive backs position.
Are you man enough? Eric Berry? Apparently Not!
