Chiefs ink WR Darling to three-year contract

Kansas City, MO (Sports Network) - The Kansas City Chiefs signed wide receiver Devard Darling to a three-year contract Tuesday.


Darling, 25, saw action in 30 games during four seasons with Baltimore, catching 20 passes for 331 yards with three touchdowns. He also had two special teams tackles.


In 2007, Darling played in all 16 games for the Ravens, recording 18 receptions for 326 yards with three TDs.
"We are pleased to sign a talented young player with experience at the wide receiver position in Devard Darling," Chiefs president Carl Peterson said. "Devard's best football is still ahead of him."
