Predictions???

I know it may be a little early for a prediction thread with camp not over and pre-season not having started, but I'm curious how you guys are thinking.

I really don't have much of a clue right now. We have a very tough schedule and our opening 4 games are nothing short of brutal.

I think the first 4 games will tell us a lot. If we can go 2-2 in those games I think we have very good chance to go 10-6 or better. But 1-3 or 0-4 would probably put us in the 7-9 to 9-7 range.

Perhaps the biggest questions are did we improve our O-line and WRs ENOUGH? And I really don't have a CLUE.

And of course, there is always the question of injuries.

For now I think I'm being fairly realistic and saying 9-7 or 10-6.

What do y'all think?

I hope you are right! If we do come out of the first 4 games at 3-1 then I think your 11-5 prediction could easily be right and perhaps even a touch conservative. 3-1 at the end of that first string would be AWESOME!

2-2 out of the gate. I would be just fine with that. Then come week 13 we hit full stride going into the playoffs and take the trophy.

That would be GREAT! But if all that really happened was a playoff win or two I would still count this as a breakthrough season.

Since I also see this result as within the realm of possibility and at the risk of offending doobs, I'll suggest that this prediction may be a combination of ongoing uncertainty about the O-line and that a lot is riding on some as-yet unproven WRs. Throw in a very tough schedule and the fact that doobs doesn't think especially well of Alex and this prediction does not surprise me at all. When I was originally thinking about a prediction, my thinking was right in line with doobs'. But then I threw in the "Andy Reid Factor" and figured that was worth one more win so I came up with 9-7 or 10-6. As I said though, the result of the first 4 games could make me inclined to DRASTICALLY change my prediction.
