I didn't see and In Game Thread for today's game, so I thought I would start one. Even though I will be away from my computer during the game!

I hate to say this, but we need Detroit to keep hanging points on us. We need to finish this embarrassment off

blaming this teams failure entirely on cassel IS ridiculous. im not sure thats what people here are doing. Its pretty clear, game time has proven for the past two seasons that we have a weak secondary. Too many games do we allow 300+ passing yards making everyone from QB's to tight ends look like geniuses. We have no threat to aid Hali on the pass rush, so opposing QB's have all day to allow their WR's to get open and downfield. Our O-line is probably the most pathetic thing ive seen in forever and is at the heart of the impotency of the offense. Doesnt help when your star WR's are dropping passes and Star(ter) QB is making terrible passes and that gives nothing for the run game to work with (when theyre not getting injured). We have a team of superstar talent but lack all of the basic fundamentals that makes a strong team.

Injuries to Berry, Moeaki, and Charles aren't helping matters either...

I agree on this, i don't think people, my self included want to put the blame on Cassel alone - it's just frustrating that nothing happens on the QB spot, and then you wants to try something else.... And as someone in this thread mentioned, i don't see the leadership in him either. earlier, he was full of energy yelling to his team mates etc..... But let's se how Haley wants handle this season start.

Ive just had a change of heart. This game is out of hand so pull Cassel. Give your backup a quarter of regular season against a potential playoff team. The way our team is getting carted off this year, might not hurt!

Yep. Cassel is the worst. It's obvious from the more than 70 points he has allowed defensively in the past , not quite two full games.

Yeah, but even if the defense was a shutout defense, you arent gonna get many W's hanging 7 and 3 points on the board. We 3 dimensionally suck
