    You can have respect without love, but you cannot have love without respect. IMO.

    Some would argue that if you have love; then you have respect thus making love of greater value.

    Exactly. But which is more important? In this case I would go with respect. You can't have love without it, and it's also import to show and earn.

    I love beer, I also respect beer. but i love it more than i respect it so i am gonna go with love...of beer!!

    Not that I agree with the statement that BRS made, but, if with love comes respect, then that would make love more important, because it includes respect.

    But what is love without respect? And you don't have to show love to everyone, but you should show respect.

    By the first statement, which you agreed upon, "love, without respect" would be... non-existent. No?

    It's kinda like asking "What's more important, an offense, or a runningback?" If you have an offense, it includes a running back. So, you take the runningback, I'll take the offense (including the runningback) and I'll have a quarterback, recievers, linemen and tight end/fullback.
