Default KC Star : Five things to watch in tonight's Chiefs-Rams game

1 The quarterbacks. Five days after Matt Cassel suffered a knee injury, the Chiefs are going to find out what their depth is made of. Kansas City’s top two remaining quarterbacks, Brodie Croyle and Tyler Thigpen, have weaknesses they’ll need to overshadow tonight. Croyle needs to prove he can finish the game in one piece, and Thigpen needs to show that he can make crisp passes. Tonight’s performance will help coach Todd Haley determine who might be the Chiefs’ No. 2 passer — and the team’s starter next week if Cassel isn’t healthy — and what the team’s quarterback rotation might look like throughout the season. 2 Haley’s attention to all details. The first-year head coach is now the Chiefs’ offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach after Chan Gailey was relieved. As if Haley didn’t have enough to worry about, now he has to mind the offense’s finer details. Haley’s three full-time jobs are each going to command his full attention; one of his tallest challenges will be delegating at least some of the duties and prioritizing a growing to-do list.

5 Which Missouri team looks better?
I have seen the rams play and I think the Chiefs have looked better. Both havn't looked stellar.

Our ol simply ain't gonna be real good for awhile. We forgot to get replacements when our vets retired. Oops.
What I really want to see is our starting defense dominate.

    I wonder who did that.

Don't blame Dick, we still had Sheilds and Roaf when Herm came.

so who was waiting in the wings? I blame CP for that. His answer was the same thing.."we have Shields and Roaf" what, me worry? Roaf retired before the season when Herm came in.
