It truly has become an election where we are required to choose the lesser of evils. And pretty much nothing will get done except for a lot of spending of tax dollars. I'm trying to think of any major change that any recent president(last 5) has made that I have benefited from. I can't think of one.

I couldn't agree more with this post.
    Ron Paul.

i expect NOTHING from the government. they do not owe me anything, i have no sort of entitlement.

it is not what your country can do for you, it is what you can do for your country. that is a line you liberals will NEVER understand.
Some people expect something from the government based upon the fact that they have been paying for it for their entire careers.

I have something to hide. My private conversations. You know, as well as I do, that this is just another way for the government to have "control" over the people. But when the republicans do it, you think that is O.K.

but government should not have that kind of power to tell a privately owned restaurant that they cannot allow smoking. That is what PRIVATE is all about, the company private and free. CONTROL CONTROL CONTROL.
Yes. I think that Republicans are doing that stuff too. Because I know the names of Giulianni and Schwartzeneger. You seem to push all blame on the left, and ignore the actions of the right.

I think that we all agree to the "lesser of two evils" theory, but differ on which is actually the lesser.

One party wants to regulate everything here, moreso than the other, and the other wants to regulate the rest of the world, moreso than the other. Both parties want to use our money to fund their ambitions.

Me, I would rather that money be used to help Americans, than to stick our nose in the rest of the worlds problems, by causing bigger problems, then trying to clean-up those messes.

Although, I hate the loss of freedom as much as the use of military might, to impose our will upon the rest of the world.

Both parties suck. I will vote for Ron Paul. (Listed as a Rep. but certainly not in the recently most common mold.)

    No more politics for me.

well you could skip the name calling and maybe try debating a specific issue??? i dont resort to name calling, but i can understand if you get in a debate that is unwinnable for you, why you would have to resort to that.

so just curious, why should someone that works at mcdonalds make more money than they already do? it is a job that doesnt require a ton of skill...but for some reason, everyone is entitled to at least some certain amount of money no matter what job it is...sweeping the floor or whatever. interesting. but then what happens to the person who has a much harder job but is only making 3 dollars above min wage. Well, now their $10/hour is no longer $10/hr and they are getting the raw end of the deal because someone in the government thought that mcdonalds employees were not making enough.

free market is the best market. not some sort of socialist, we work, government distributes OUR money, system.

wow, that is deep. you won that debate with william G McAdoo's quote.

I agree with the quote, just don't agree with the ignorant party.

you libs look down on people whos parents worked hard to give them a better chance at life.

So I should feel guilty that my dad worked his arze off and gave me more security than the ordinary person and then taught me the same discipline that he had so I can continue to provide for myself while your dad was out every night smoking doobies and having sex with every girl he could get on and paying child support out his arze.. HAHAHAHAHAH I LOVE liberals mindsets.

so i need to "struggle" before i can have a voice!

i apoligize for never having premaritial sex, never doing an illegal drug in my life, not having to buy several packs of marlboro light because i have never smoked a cig in my life. For all this, i apoligize. I should have gone through the same "struggles" that many people CHOSE to go through so i could know what it is like to struggle so i can rely on other people to get me out of my mess that I personally got myself into.

This is the mindset that our nation and economy need so we can grow and succeed to be the best we can be!! we need more victimization!!! we are all victims, save us big government, for we cannot save ourselves.

i understand about being mad that we pay into the system such as social security (another social program the dems created) and are now realizing that a government cannot handle other people's money and will always bankrupt itself.

so whoever voted for the social security way back then, now we are inheriting the rewards of it...paying into it knowing we will never get anything back. I love it. We need more liberal democrats in government positions!!!
