Default Anyone for the NE Patriots winning it all?

Well: It's 8:15PM (EST) & I'm starting to get my buzz on. It should have been the Chiefs/Patriots tonight. That ship has sailed. Anyway....Being a hardcore KC fan & living north of Boston, the Pats are my 2nd favorite team. I cannot pull for either the Bolts or the Donkey's, so I guess it's the Patriots. I'm still not completely over Saturday's loss, but all of us know all too well about our cursed team. I dig this forum even though I don't post much. I LOVE all of you with your insight every week! Thanks all for such a great year!

I'm all for the Pats advancing to the SB as opposed to the Donkeys. No way do I want to see the Donkeys get to the SB.

Normally I don't jump up and down about the Patriots...But they have overcome a lot of injuries and managed to stay on top, and if they get to the superbowl they've earned it outright. If you guys have to play Denver, please rip them to shreds.

Ideally the pats make the Super Bowl and lose to the NFC, I hate brady and the patriots but as long as they knock Denver out that's fine with me.

I agree. If it comes between the Patriots or Broncos, then the Patriots. If KC had won, then KC would had played Denver and not New England and you guys would have had the Chargers (hope I am right here). To be honest though, I want the Chargers win tonight and next week.

I don't sulk when the Pats lose. It's a whole another ball game when the Chiefs do. I understand that the Patriots aren't a popular team outside of New England. They have had a wonderful run (all of us wished we had that) The word around here is that Bill Belichick has coached his best season with regards to the massive injuries to the starters. I have to agree. Even though he isn't even remotely likeable, he gets the job done. In a perfect world I would love to see SD beat Denver. It might just happen (fingers crossed)

Thanks much Chiefster. I bleed Red/White & Yellow like you my friend. Last Saturday's loss to the Colts equals the loss from 1990 against the Miami Dolphins. We were up 16-3 with less then 5:00 minutes to go in the 4th & Dan Marino & company beat us. Christian Okoye ran the ball to 5 yard line & Dave Szott was called for holding (his rookie season) & Nick Lowery missed the 45 yard FG in the final seconds to win the game! When I say he missed, I mean he was "dead-on" & was short by maybe 5 inches. Just our Chiefs luck as usual!
