Default Brodie Croyle touchdowns against Saints...

How many touchdowns will Croyle throw against the Saints? Again, keep in mind that he is expected to play for at least the entire first half of the game.

I say the "O" coordinator opens up the play book a little more and sees what the kid can do. I say atleast 2.

Yeah, I'll take him for one TD and 2 picks. Hope I'm wrong and he goes air-raid and puts up a performance to validate everybody's faith in him, though.
Thanks for all the yards, TDs, and memories, Priest!

I missed that? Where did it say he would play the first half?

If it's true, I think a "Croyle over/under" would be better (READ: Will the number of touchdowns be over or under the number of interceptions. Put me down for UNDER.)

Well I can understand why...he has played about 6 drives this season. That should be more than enough for everyone to know how well he is gonna do for the season. Sure he throws some picks, but so does Grossman and the Bears got to the Bowl last year!!

Did you just compare Croyle to Grossman. Please say it aint so. I think Grossman is the biggest joke in the NFL. The Bears made it to the Superbowl in spite of Grossman, not because of him.

I am just saying that throwin a few picks isn't going to end the season for us.

I agree, but throwing a pick one out of every 3 drives will end the season (6 drives / 2 interceptions -- and the last interception should count for 2 or 3 -- it was not only a horrible pass, it was a read of a defense about as bad as it can get). Anyone who thinks we can get to the playoffs with Croyle this year just needs to go back and look at the pick against Miami....

I don't hate Croyle. I like him. He has potential. Just look at his TD drive. Poise, confidence, accuracy, variety of throws. All the base skills needed.

I just don't like the idea of starting the season with the play-offs out of the picture because we are letting him learn. Wait until the play-offs are out of the picture, then start Croyle.

Look at Cutler in Denver last year. You leave Plummer in and you probably take the Chiefs spot in Indy (which sucks, but at least you get to game 17).
