Terrance Copper was one of the Chiefs unrestricted free agents that hit the market on Friday. He didn’t go far. Copper has re-signed with the Chiefs. Out of the 3 wide receivers that were eligible for free agency, Terrance Copper is the only one that the the Chiefs have re-signed.

This isn’t too much of a surprise considering that the Copper was a valuable piece to the Chiefs special teams units last year. Haley values smart players who work hard and Copper fits that example.

Every franchise needs depth and guys that are willing to play special teams and most Championship teams have 4 or 5 Terrance Coppers on their squad. I don’t mind this pickup at all.
