First off im not a phillip rivers fan.. His attitude and being on a rival team rub me the wrong way, but hes got talent and is the leader of his offense. Ive seen some reports saying that nothing says hell leave sandiego in 2013 but my question is why is this even possibly a issue and if it is could we be interested? Hes had two sub par years but he has no weapons this year, the head coach and gm will be canned monday so the team will be rebuilding. The only reason i bring his name up is because our 1 super major ultra need above all else we need a qb (and a new coach and gm)

:fishing: I wanted the Chiefs to do this last year. Washington did and KC didn’t. Not saying it would of worked out like in dc but i digress.

I’m really hoping they do grab 2 , preferably from the top 5-6 qbs. As of this moment i’d like them to draft Murray(if he comes out) , Wilson , Glennon , Smith. The order could and probably will change some after all the bowls , workouts , interviews and the combine.

But what about late round qbs ? I’m not one of those that think they can grab gold anywhere but i believe those types can become solid & dependable. Bradys’ do not come around all that often. Was just thinking maybe someone to take Stanzi’s place and that has a legit shot to be a #2 maybe this year or in a year or two.

AJ McCarron from Bama would be one and Tettleton from Ohio. I saw Tettleton 2 games last year and for about 9 to 10 quarters this year(before the bowl game today) and you gotta like what you see. I keep hearing the kid from Arkansas St is really good , too. Not seen any games they’ve played, maybe someone here has.

There has got to be several more that might work out. To me its a no brainer , they cannot keep the qbs on the roster they have now , apparently Stanzi is so bad they won’t even let him play in the last game so for me he’s gone. If they do pick up a second qb and they do not work they can pickup another next year. ‘sposed to be doin that every year anyway according to the lame duck GM.

Anybody got ideas on others that might work out in this scenario ?

Ive never payed much attention to college football up close until this year. My wife is a die hard oklahoma state university fan so of course i took her to a game this year and ive watched more college ball then ever.(i still prefer a goid chiefs game over any other game). But i was thinking mike gundy could be a surprise pick for a head coaching role in the nfl. I like his fire and with the way offenses are changing in the nfl i liked to see what he could do with a new qb and jc. What you guys think of gundy

Jamaal Charles, Tamba Hali, Derrick Johnson, Eric Berry, and Dustin Colquitt.

I am most surprised about Eric Berry, but he has stepped itup the last half of the season. Kinda surprised about Hali over Houston, since I think Houston had more sacks, but I wouldnt be surprised if Houston is an alternate.

It is sad that we have more PLAYERS in the probowl than WINS. I think that says enough about the coaching staff that Hunt should make the right decision on Monday morning. Too bad I will be camping and wont get to hear the news!

Reflects the fact that indeed we do have talent, and it is widely recognized.

Charles, Hali, Johnson, Berry and Colquitt.
Only three other AFC teams with more representatives.

All deserving IMO. Comments?

My only comment is that its never good to have a punter on the all pro roster. A record for punts inside the twenty. Not a good reflection on our offence.
