thought i would share this with you

    Quote:
Ike Ditzenberger is like a lot of other 17-year-old American football players. He dreams of playing college football. He attends daily practices. Most of the time he toils away in offensive drills. Then, on rare occasions, Ditzenberger runs into the limelight with aplomb. The description could fit thousands of American teenagers, except for one crucial detail: Ike Ditzenberger has Down Syndrome.

Great story, but the other team clearly was jogging and let the young boy score.

I dunno, it looked to me like there were some pretty quick & tough falls trying to tackle and block. I agree some of the opposing team players may have fell back by choice of their own heart…if so, that only makes what took place in this game that much more of an amazing accomplishment & blessing for all involved. :)
